There is nothing better than homegrown tomatoes and basil from our herb garden topped with some fresh mozarella cheese(which did not come from a cow in our backyard-maybe next year)
I'm especially glad to reap the rewards without any of the labor. Thanks Mike for producing such a lovely and delicious garden.

Love your adorable children!! What in the heck are zucchini fritters?? I was never a zucchini guru. Looks like a great garden- good job, Mike! I am sure you help a little, Amy. You certainly make yummy food out of it all.
Fresh garden herbs and vegetables are the best! Maybe one day we'll have a yard and then we can have a garden! We might need Mike's garden expertise to help us out a little though - looks like he's doing pretty well!
ahhhh yummy!!! I love gardens and just wish we could have success in our yard. Looks yummy!!
I was sooooo sad to read about your friend Ginger. Wow!! it just makes me want to appreciate EVERY moment I have to be with my family. She is younger than me and leaving behind a beautiful family. It breaks my heart!
It looks great! post the recipe....
I"ve finallly lived in one place long enough to plant a garden (actually I've planted before but always moved before we could enjoy the fruits of our labors)
It took building a retaining wall and purchasing tons of good soil to get a garden here - Paul says he can't wait to enjoy a very expensive salad.
Yummy Amy! Now where is this year's crop of nasty, fat tomato caterpillars for my children to play with?
Yum. I'd love some of that caprese salad right now.
Yum! Don't forget... I'm just up the street if you have an overflow of yummy veggies! I'd be happy to take some of those off your hands! hee hee hee
(shameless)
