This has been a great week at our home. Julia Jean was blessed in church on Sunday and it was so wonderful to have friends and family from near and far come for the event. She looked so beautiful in her dress. I was so happy that the dress turned out just like I had invisioned. Thanks Mom for sewing it all together.
Alyssa and Britain came and stayed with us for a week and we had so much fun with them. Alyssa was my right hand woman in the kitchen, helping me to prepare the lunch for our 40 friends and family who came. Aren't those cupcakes she made so cute.

Sounds like a beautiful blessing day! Such a cute family pic, too. I am impressed with your blogging, as I can't seem to blog and I don't even have the baby yet!! I just found out you know our friend Kristie. What a fun connection.
M&M-You are lucky to have Sarah and KRistie up there. Kristie and I were running buddies (and great friends) down here and I cried when she moved out of my ward.
The cupcakes are adorable. The food looks fabulous too. What a great week. I love that blessings have become a perfect reason for family and friends to celebrate the birth of babies. It is always a fun time.
Blessing days are so wonderful! I'm so glad you were able to spend it with so many friends and family - wish I could have been there. Julia looks beautiful. So does her mom - you look great, Amy!
Has Alyssa ever considered being a party planner, a caterer, etc? I'd hire her.
Oh, Aim! I'm so sad to be back here! B gets so excited whenever I show him pictures of Blake. Thank you for taking us in and showing us such a wonderful time!
xoxo
Amy - what an amazing spread! So much yummy food! Wow. Love those chickies!
JuJu looked so cute in her beautiful dress. We definitely need her in a close up picture.
Speaking of Kristie - has she had her baby yet? I need details!
I saw Kristie and her baby today at a playgroup. Kristie is already back to running and looking fabulous! Her baby is adorable, of course!
Sounds like you had a great blessing weekend. It's nice to have so many people attend and spend time at your house. I want to see a close up picture of the dress. It looks beautiful but I want to see the smocking you did.
Julia's dress is so beautiful. I love the bonnet too! What a sweetie!
I just realized that the "Amy" Kristie always talked about was you! What nice things she has to say about you. And Sarah, too. I do feel very lucky to have such good friends and running partners. Can't wait to go running again. Come visit Oregon sometime!
Amy, everything looks so beautiful, right down to the blue knobs in your kitchen. I wish I could have been there.
